We're proud to share that Hesburger's Order Management Overhaul has been awarded Silver at the European Design Awards 2025.
The awards ceremony took place on Saturday, June 7th, in Ljubljana, as part of the prestigious European Design Festival. The event brings together the best of European design – it's an honour to see our work recognised on an international stage.
This recognition marks another milestone for a project that has already received praise at the national level. At the heart of the success is a strong and seamless collaboration between Hesburger, Taiste and another longtime technology collaborator Arado.
"Our primary design goal in the project was to make life as frictionless for the restaurant workers as possible," Taiste's Design Director Ville Kaisla explains.
"The award is a victory for co-design. We believe that constantly creating and validating ideas with the people who use these tools is the key to innovation and long-lasting results.”
Arado’s CEO Anssi Soinu echoes the sentiment: “The solution saves Hesburger 25 000 work hours yearly for other tasks. It directly influences the employees’ ability to focus more on the quality of the customer service – a competitive edge that will always remain important.”
