Turku & Helsinki

Lead UX/UI Designer

Are you a UX professional with experience in designing business-critical software? Would you like to work as a part of a team that's building one of our biggest projects?

We're looking for a Lead UX Designer to direct a large design undertaking related to an enterprise system. You can work either at our Turku or Helsinki office but the role requires occasional trips to Turku and visits to the customer's premises. Besides the project-specific requirements, our work environment is always flexible and remote work is a normal part of our life, too.

As a Lead UX Designer, you're responsible for the user experience of a large customer project. You have the overall responsibility of the design work and can communicate fluently with experts of their respective fields (client, developers, designers). You get to influence major decisions and ideas as a part of a steering group. You know how to bring significant value to a digital product in all phases of its development: from an early concept to prototypes all the way to visual design and user research. Additionally, your work includes creating user interfaces.

This position requires frequent presence in Turku and good spoken/written Finnish skills.

For this role, we hope you recognise yourself from this description:

  • You have several years of experience in UX design
  • You have an understanding of the design work related to enterprise and back end systems (ie. ERPs and/or Business Intelligence environments)
  • You have a good eye for visual design and an enthusiasm for premium user experiences
  • Your way of working is systematic and precise
  • You're familiar with one or several software used in modern UX design (Figma, Sketch etc.)
  • You're independent, proactive and capable of leading projects
  • You have good communication skills
  • You have fluent skills in Finnish and English (written and spoken)

"Here, the cliché about freedom and responsibility actually holds true. As an employee, you get to be very independent, and yet most of the time you spend working collaboratively with your colleagues in our own offices. Moreover, your input matters in terms of which projects you want to be involved with."
